I have camped and hiked many locations here. There's a great variety of trails from easy to hard from 1 mile to 13-ish miles. Camping sites are appropriately spaced so while you can see other people, they're not right up in your business. I enjoy the early morning summer hikes most of all before the sun really hits. Don't forget your water and sunscreen as there's generally not a lot of shade along most of the trails.

Beautiful trails, clean restrooms and a fun playground near the picnic benches made for an amazing family outing. Watch out for the coyotes while eating, they will try to come up to you. Bring water, sunscreen etc.

White Tank Mountain is really cool. The trails are well maintained. Campsites are really nice too and well maintained. We will come back for sure.

Reservation process was easy. Sites were spacious, easy to back into with my 23' Airstream. Power and water at the site and the campground has a dump station. The area is beautiful desert, lots of saguaro cactus. City conveniences are nearby, if you need them.

I believe it is a 14 day limit for all Maricopa County Parks, so the people we talk to just make 2 reservations for 2 weeks each and just move after 14 days.
