Lately there are too many patients or should I say lack of personnel. Last week we were here 1/2 a day just for the Coumadin test. Today we are sitting here and everyone is being told that there is along time due to there are only two flebotomists.

They have too many patients, and there is not enough attention to detail or enough follow up. They miss many important symptoms and conditions such as atrial fibrillation and use the cheapest medicines, such as coumadin, and then do not follow up well, leading to dangerous health outcomes. They do not have connections to the best hospitals, such that you are forced to choose among the worst when a loved one needs to be hospitalized, which also leads to negative health outcomes such as very bad bed sores. They also do not have a humane and compassionate system in place to help very elderly patients with Alzheimer’s who come in for appointments. They make them wait for hours and then get upset and complain when they become agitated. They neither ask for feedback nor have a procedure in place to receive constructive criticism, which can only lead one to think that they don’t care about individuals or quality care, just about keeping their machinery of clinics and operations going at the expense of quality. They do not return phone calls and twist facts in order to try to blame the patient which, of course, only makes the family feel worse.

My mother was a patient for years. One day she past out and was taken to the hospital. I was told that she had a very large cancerous tumor and that she was going to die soon. If the doctor really check on her, he would have noticed. During her last visits, all he said that he is training students from a university. The oncologist said that at her 81, nothing could be done. I am now on Medicare & Leon will be the last place I would select.

There's no attention to detail nor patient care. They cover it by providing refreshments and pastries. Doctor's are not caring. It's not a medical facility but a factory of old aged patients whom they thrive from over billing the Medicare and Medicaid system. Their employees are under payed and over worked. All they care about is the status quo in quantity and not quality by building facilities after facilities. And, for their uncaring, unprofessional, unqualified, untrusting staff a simple diagnosed of pneumonia my father passed away. I do not recommend this or any Leon facility to anyone. If you want personal care I highly recommend a one on one doctor, not a patient factory system in which your only a number.

It is most likely if not in that specialty in another afin I think that in that place you can solve ... try to interview someone important first time.
