Where do I start? We were celebrating our anniversary it was a beautiful day out and on a whim decided to stop and have a glass of wine and enjoy the weather. When we entered the building it was nearly empty and a gentleman asked us how could he help us. He informed us that he does only private tastings by reservation only. And you can only buy the wine by the bottle with no tasting of the wine before you buy to see if you even like it. The gentleman who I assumed was the owner was not welcoming, was arrogant and condescending in how he spoke to us. We left and drive 10 minutes down the road to another winery and were welcomed as soon as entered the door. We told them about our experience and they said they hear that all the time. Don’t waste your time going to this place not a good experience.

We went here with a friend from Wisconsin on a total whim. We were covered in cat hair, oil, and sawdust, and had a bunch of engine heads in our trunk. A few months ago we had gone to another local winery on a whim and got a bunch of looks like "what the heck are these guys doing here?", so we expected a similar experience. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the owner was very friendly and didn't really care that we weren't the typical winery clientele. He recommended us some great wines, and we even had a great chat with him for a while out on the patio. I don't know what's up with those four reviews from that one group three months ago that said the owner wouldn't server them. Either they posted reviews to the wrong winery, or they were demanding free wine or something.
