Took the beginner wheel throwing class with Michelle and absolutely loved it. The studio is great, Michelle was a fantastic instructor and incredibly kind, and having available studio hours for student was a great perk. Highly recommend!

Cobalt and Clay is an awesome creative space. The staff is friendly. The classes are well instructed and very well priced for all you get out of it. I was able to make some great pieces as a beginner. Highly recommend giving pottery a try. Especially here!

My husband and I took a beginning wheel throwing class with Michelle, and we liked it so much we took another class with Lisa. Both teachers are fantastic! They're knowledgeable, friendly, extremely patient and helpful, and very talented. We learned so much from these classes. The studio is great: small and manageable but never too crowded. It's got the perfect setup for Covid safety, with lots of airflow, and everyone was very conscientious about masking. The best part about this place is the friendly/positive vibe. Every person we interacted with, from the owner to the teachers to the folks staffing the studio when we went in to practice, was laid back and super helpful.

My first pottery experience in this location started as a date night with the husband for a 2 hour wheel throwing session. I had such an awesome experience that I decided to take a 6 week throwing class. I had Nicole as an instructor and the classes was definitely fun and insightful. From kneading the clay, learning the proper technique of wheel throwing, trimming and finally glazing them, by the end of 6 weeks I felt a sense of pride and develop a sense of appreciation in my imperfect perfect pieces that I made. The staff are patient and knowledgeable. The location is great, ample street parking. The studio is nice and clean, very welcoming. Plus they have a cute storefront which sells some of their previous student’s pottery work. So give them a try and you’ll love it so much, you’ll sign up for ANOTHER 6 week, class just like me 😅
