I went yesterday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Everything started good, the waitress was friendly until I complained very politely (honestly) about my chorizo sandwich. I was expecting something good since “choripan” is something characteristic from Argentina, instead I got a lettuce sandwich with 1 tomato slice on each side and 1 hotdog size chorizo cut in half (one half for each half of the sandwich), I could barely taste the meat, all I tasted was lettuce with mayo. After I let the waitress know that the sandwich was pretty disappointing she turned rude and said “well, no one has complained about the sandwich before” like saying I was wrong. I asked her if at least was possible to get another half of chorizo to put in my sandwich, with a rude face she agreed and after she returned with the chorizo she gave me the check, didn’t even ask if I wanted dessert or something else, letting me know that she wanted us to leave, that was so rude.

SUCH a great meal! Super tasty (some of the best morcilla I've ever had), the meat was tender, and everything felt like it was prepared by your Argentinian nona. They're clearly short staffed, so please be patient with their team. There was only one server working the night we came and still the service was really great. We'll definitely be coming back!

After having my first complete meal of Argentinian food, I am ready to crown Argentina "The Land of Good Livin'". 75⁰ today, eating outside was a good start, but when I got my glass of Malbec wine, I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I started off with the Lengua a la Vinagretta; thinly sliced beef tongue in a vinegrette with garlic and parsley. It was sooo good. Also included was a basket of bread to soak up the vinegrette. Yum. Next I had the Asado de Tira, homestyle short ribs Papa al Mojo, roasted potatoes with toasted garlic and parsley. The restaurant, El Morfi is an excellent parrilla, but credit is also due to Downtown Glendale for setting up comfortable, safe outdoor seating. Thank you.

Our server Ruth was great. We felt welcomed . The food was very good and fresh. The serving sizes are good. I reccomend this spot for people that want to sample a taste of Argentinean food. The music and the art on the walls gave it a unquiet Argentinean touch. We will be stopping by again soon. The FLAN is a MUST!
