I've been resident here for over 5 years. Someone now residing in building keeps leaving back door propped so homeless can enter overnight. This just in last 2 yrs. Has altered confidence of the building security that was in place before pandemic. 🌈 Jeanne service coordinator is outstanding resource for helping residents with everyday needs and special needs. As well as coordinating entertainment and community room functions. Location offers many options from groceries shopping, to pizza. Social security office within walking distance. My Mother lived here for 21 years. My ex Mother in law also lived here for over 15 years, until she had to go to nursing home.

!!! PLEASE TAKE HEED OF ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS HERE !!! #1 management uses the security cameras on the inside and outside of the building to "catch" residents and visitors 'breaking rules'. It doesn't take much, but if 'caught', you will receive a VERY stern SCOLDING (yes, scolding) by the manager, in a very condescending tone of voice. #2 If you ask the manager a question, you don't get an answer. She responds with a question, with the sole purpose of intimidating and blaming you. #3 Bedbugs have become a REAL problem here, and the manager will blame YOU for them, even though you have no control over where they come from. #4 What others have said here about the parking is absolutely true! I have personally witnessed it. This will also give the asst. manager a crack at you too. #5 management WILL go through your garbage in order to find something on you. Believe it! #6 If you still want to live here (but consider not doing it), you need to get used to fire engines and ambulances coming to the front parking lot almost every single day. So, park in the back where your car has a better chance of being broken into. #7 because it's H.U.D. housing, get used to 'inspections' a few times a year. It's yet another chance for on site management to take a swipe at you, if possible. #8 if you still want to live here, get used to gossip. If the manager hears it, she will hold it against you as well. It also gives her an another opportunity to intimidate you if you go to her about it. She'll try and make you feel dumb about yourself. #9 I almost forgot to mention that you will want to sign for any deliveries may you get, because they could get stolen from your front door (prescriptions, etc.). Some residents also read other residents private correspondence that is stuck in their front door. Privacy? Not so much! *There is much more that could be said, but this should be enough food for thought, and reconsideration. ONE REDEEMING VALUE LIVING THERE: Jeannie, the social service coordinator! She is SO helpful! Always kind! An angel!

The place itself is most acceptable. Easy access to rooms and elevators. The office manager is just very rude to my friend who resides there. There is a place to drop off and pick up residents, but apparently no one is supposed to use it. The woman is a coward, since I walked my friend in so she would not get yelled at and the woman waited until I left to tell at her. Her name is Barbara and she has spoken to another friend of ours in the same tone. These are mostly elderly persons who should be able to enjoy their home, not be afraid to come and go.
