Love this place been going for a long time. They have the best milk, chocolate milk, and I can't get better eggs anywhere else. Their seasonal eggnog is a must have as well. Huell Howser was the reason I first came here growing up, and their quality is what keeps bringing me back, definitely must make pit stop whenever you can.

I cannot say enough about this dairy! The milks are so much better than store bought. The guys in front are very nice and patient and they take care of you right away as well as making sure you get what you need. They closed for a bit a few years ago and I (as well as many others) was disappoint, to say the least. I'm happy you're there! I live in Las Vegas NV now but come down to Las Angeles once a month for a couple of days and already stop by there. The flats of eggs, milk, cheese, OJ, ice creams etc... Are A1!

This place is a local treasure! I didn't tell my kids where we were going and as soon as we pulled up and they saw the sign they were so excited! I think the next time we go, I'll just park out on the street as the driveway can get a bit congested, but the nice part about it, even with how busy it was when we were there, everyone seemed to work happily together to navigate in and out of there as if united through a common bond of love and respect for this local icon. Definitely worth the drive up from Long Beach! Only thing we were slightly sad about is that they are not bottling their delicious eggnog in glass anymore. I understand why, as holiday buyers are less likely to return the bottle. At least they designed plastic bottles that look like their old school glass ones. There's no substitute for that extra chill you get by pouring out of a glass bottle though! That being said, their chocolate milk, the best I've ever tasted, still comes in glass! Get out there and support this local LA institution!

It’s back! My seasonal treat...you cannot imagine my disappointment last year when I heard from my Gelson’s grocery store, that the farm had decided to discontinue this product and sell everything. I was sorry to hear of the death of the patriarch of the family, and I understood that at that time the family probably did not want to continue on without him. So I imagine my joy when I was grocery stop shopping last night, and discovered my favorite eggnog there in the dairy case. It’s sad to say but I’ve already drank one of these beautiful jars and I’m having the start of a new one in my coffee. Now it’s not that I want everyone to buy up MY supply but quickly run to your grocery store and grab a liter or two for the holiday season.

Yes Chris we understand. With the quality of your products, I don't mind spending more
I agree, I definitely agree. Well said Chris!
There is nine cases left and I close in a little over 3 hours.
Northridge location is not affiliated with Broguieres Dairy Inc
Cash only
Around $5 per pint
No, it's more of a distribution store
DOES TAKE EBT. Best Eggnog I have ever had and Chocolate milk.
The best ever at brougiers/Montebello Dairy.
Glass quart is $3.75+$2.00 deposit.
Some stores sell it . Super A market and a few others. I've seen it at Ralph's also
At the dairy
Uhhh... Huell Howser
I found their milk at The Cheese Cave in Claremont.
You can return the bottles to any store that sells Broguiere's Milk and you will recieve a bottle deposit back.
The egg nog is available all day (business hours)
It's really based on demand (as they make limited batches) but typically you should be able to find it through new year's eve.
Usually around Halloween time through Christmas
Yes and Chocolate as well.
Compliant
Try Bristol Farms, Whole Foods or Gelsons.
Eggnog is only in plastic bottles this year because of Covid. Milk is still in glass bottles
Yes, but only in plastic bottles. Still just as delicious!
They used to, I don't know about know. You would need to call them
Hi Mary, not sure what David Holtman from Lancaster is on about, they sell bottled milk. Their milk is in glass and there are other milk partners in plastic. You can buy the milk and pay the deposit and return next time to exchange and not pay a deposit or bring your container and transfer the milk at your car and then return the bottle for your deposit before leaving. He must be using the "health department" excuse for everything to scare people about the virus. Totally irresponsible answer. Lots of places will take the bottle for your money back. As usual people making stuff up who don't know anything.
At this moment I am currently out but waiting for shipment in an hour. But that is not in my control, so I can not guarantee that.
The Bimbo Bakeries outlet is just around the corner if you make two rights on Maple and Mines and then Vail, you can get your fix for the donuts there.
You can buy their products at Gelson's market.
Check out Ralph's or Vons. If you have a Bristol farm's around there, most definitely. Or you can contact Clemson distribution for a list of stores.
Yes
No we do not sell lactose free milk. I'm sorry.
I'm afraid Donald is correct. I sold out Tuesday morning. I'm sorry. Thank you for your patronage and I'll see you in 10 months.
Yes. We just made a batch today and we will be making another batch tomorrow so there will be plenty
I'm sorry but it's not us meaning broguiere's Dairythat does the deliveries it's completely up to the distribution where they distribute. If you come to 505 South Maple avenue in Montebello, that is our drive-thru Dairy you can get your products here.
$5.25+$2.00 deposit for the bottle.
$5.25 plus the $2.00 deposit for the bottle.
Don't buy anything else but Broguiere's eggnog. Don't mess with the rest just buy the best! Yes come on in I've got lots of eggnog.
Is that the only place you can take them. I buy from Clark's in Ontario
My father retired and I had pulled my products from the stores. Tried to make a go of it just here at the dairy. Did not work! I was losing money every week. So to stop the bleeding I had to close down and figure things out. I got back in the stores so now I'm able to open up my store again. So come on back eggnog and chocolate are waiting! 😉
No, I'm sorry I don't. Having trouble finding a producer that will sell it to me in small volumes.
Just like Levi said. Yes. You can buy milk. Same broguiere's different name
Not sure now since it open agian I know gallon was 2 bucks back in return
I hope so. If not, I'll still make the trek from the San Fernando Valley to Broguiere's to get my milk. I'm so glad that they were able to open back up! Hopefully they can remain in business for years to come. It would be a shame to lose such a historic staple to not just Montebello, but Los Angeles!
Make sure you all get there early on Saturday because I'm expecting chocolate to run out.
The Broguiere's Dairy store will be open but markets will not receive product until after September 1st. At least that is the projection.
,look up dairs that delivery thier a a company called Rosa dairys
Dont know but it so sad. It's closed
Not at the moment. Closed and done with production until further notice
They had a sign up that they would be closed Memorial Day.
He having 2nd thoughts per pubic interest and customers demand not to close so not known yet ill let you all know
No
News to us too, so sad to hear that. I will be driving over this weekend.
Yes. They does thier a a deposit
It might still be During the early part of this month
Because that's who distributes the milk for them to the stores.
They don't do home delivery anymore but you might want to look into Uber Eats to see if the will pick up there.
Usually New Year's Day is the deadline.
I Think it was 5.99
No cash or ck only eb cards
No it's not ana, some ralphs, vons and pavilions have it as well as other stores. And the empty bottles CAN be returned to the same place you buy the product, stop answering questions from your butt if you don't REALLY know the answer.
No
Usually about 1 week. But i put mines on my top shelf (which is the coldest) & it lasted 2 weeks 😉
They give you credit for the bottles
It's also sold at Pavilions markets and some Stater Bros.
I've seen their chocolate milk being sold at Ralphs, Pavilions and Stater Bros. Not sure about their other products.
They try to have stock available through new year's eve but it is not guaranteed (based on demand). The eggnog is made in batches and i believe they make one last batch around Christmas.
Sorry not sure if they do tours.
Yes. Cash or check.
About $5 in plastic bottle, and $6.50 in glass (around $1.25 deposit on the glass)
I don't believe they do. But i can ask i work across from the dairy. But eggnog is being sold ad 2 weeks ago.
Los Angeles, and yes.

The egg nog usually becomes available towards the end of October
