Chill place and good beer selection. They have nice waitresses who are very friendly. Highly recommend to come and hangout with friends. Kids are not a good environment due to loudness and hosting services.

I just came back to California less than a week ago when my contract expired to be a personal chef to a businessman and his family. I thought I would come visit Venus Lounge since it was almost two years since I last graced my presence there. (2/22/2014) Staff (by staff I mean bouncers, bar tenders, and servers) was friendly as I recall but the dancers? Not so much. Last night there was dancer, whose name started with M and wearing killer short white t-shirt with very cute pink underwear that showed off her assets and everything else very very nicely, and I thought to myself I got to get a dance from her before I left. After she got off from the floor I approached her and told her that I was very much interested in her and perhaps I could buy her a drink or two. She said sure and she will be right back, so I sat down nearby table and waited with few $100 in my pocket. Instead of coming up to me she proceeded to sit down table next to mine and chat with other dancers and patron that was sitting there. I thought to myself that she was most likely giving greeting and chatting lightly. To my surprise she parked herself to that table, eating what was left of UFC fight buffet. Being an idiot I am I waited good 45 minute before deciding to head out. Any who enough with my ranting this is my renewed rating of Venus Lounge: Did I enjoy watching the dancers? Yes. 4/5 Were the staff (by staff I mean bouncers, bar tenders, and servers) friendly, clean and courteous? Yes, especially the server in red corset last night! She was always smiling, laughing with patrons, very good looking, flirtatious, very good at reading patrons and giving recommendations on drinks, good at redirecting patron's attention to dancers, did I say flirtatious already? 5/5 Was the bar clean? As far as I can see yes. (oh come on! There is only so much you can see with lighting and distractions!) 4/5 Was the Bathroom clean? No (At least on men's bathroom and I couldn't exactly go into women's bathroom) 2/5 How would I rate dancer's behavior and mannerisms? 2/5 I've talk to three other dancers last night and they were more keen on keeping to regulars exception would be a one dancer whose stage name started R, whom I bought a dance from for my friend who came with me. (As far as I can remember only six dancers last night so I think talking to over half of them is good to get estimate) Would I go back? At this point it's a big resounding No, if I wanted to go out for a drink I would rather have gone to Foxfire. 2/5 Would I recommend to others? Once again big resounding No, unless you are already a regular there the dancers would most likely avoid you unless it was getting closer to closing time. 2/5 Last comment: Honestly, if it wasn't for the spectacular server in killer red corset I would have rated 1/5.
