Would like to start by saying what brought us to try this place was the fact that the owner responds to his own google reviews and some of his response are GREAT! He responds to the negatives ones that I feel are not valid negative reviews!! First time trying it and it was good. My husband and I feel that we know good sushi. We like very fresh, not overly sized, or overly complex. We like sushi you are able to actually taste the good fish. This place was on it. The rolls were good sized. The fish was great. Fresh and not fishy. They don’t use a ton of sauce to try and mask anything. This place has some of the best sushi we have found in Colorado. Let’s talk about the presentation as well - we’ll just look at it for yourself. Lots of color and beauty. The presentation was on point!! We also ordered the pork gyoza fried and it was really good too. The shell of it was think and crispy. Most places seem to put a thick shell on them that either are doughy or over fried. Very fresh and definitely taste like made with love. The staff was super friendly and kind. Loved the environment since it was warm and cozy. Gives you the feel of being part of the fun. The waiting area has a great library that gives it a vibe that invites you to stay and hangout. Met the owner and he was very nice as well. We will be back and bringing others with us.

Found this place accidentally when the Broadmoor didn’t have any reservations left for dinner. The sushi is absolutely incredible. Everyone was so nice. A friend ordered a bowl of ramen and it was literally the size of a beach ball. The presentation was amazing. We ordered so much, I will probably be having sushi for breakfast!

We went to Dozo for lunch based on the online reviews and it did not disappoint. We had great food and service! Don't let the exterior fool you. If you want fresh sushi in Colorado Springs this is the place!

Absolutely a delight. Sushi was quite superb, with a large variety of veggie rolls available (that were rolled to perfection). Presentation was stunning, with the garnishes forming art while being equally suited to complement the food. For the price of the rolls, it was valued very well. On top of that, chill atmosphere - beautiful waiting area, yet it was easy to get a table. 100% recommend. PS, I heard they make their own sauces, which I'd believe it, because the soy sauce was tactful, well executed.

They were very ggod, all staff in masks, tables well spaced and great sanitation between customers.
All sauces are made in house. Not all from scratch though.
No sir, we don't have a happy hour, but we have lunch menu for kitchen and some of sushi bowls.
You can call the restaurant and do it over the phone however.
