Very Nice Place and Friendly Staff. Only PROBLEM was I got there at 12:15, 15 minutes early! Well 2:30 came around so I spoke up! They Looked at Me Like What!?!? And had no idea what happened. Well Someone dropped the ball somewhere! Me as a Front Desk Receptionist ALWAYS ask Our Clients what's going on when I See them sitting there long. I can't watch every move , so it doesn't hurt to ask! But, in all EXCELLENT Facility!

My experience at this dental facility has been a pleasant one. I was seen at the UCLA Endodontics department by Dr. Thomas Lin. Not only has he been one of the kindest, most down to earth individuals in the medical field I’ve had treating me, he has been one of the more professional and thorough ones. So far, I’ve had two root canals done, and they have been performed successfully with out pain. One of the things I appreciate so much is that he was so conservative with one of the root canals, that all I needed was a final filling and no crown required. Saved me on the expense of this purchase. He’d also make sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on in the process. I still may need to be treated for two other root canals, and I’m hoping I can continue to see him for that. I’ll be sad to see him go, when he pursues his own practice or starts employment elsewhere. I’m sure any of his future patients will be in good hands and have a great dental experience with him. I was blessed to get a great dentist here. One thing to note, is that you need to have patience. This is a very busy facility and I’m sure the staff is overworked. Make sure to ask about insurance coverage and ask your questions so you don’t get any surprises. I’d advise you try working directly with the dentist to get a position in their schedules and ask for availability while you’re there at the office. Again, I emphasize, this facility is a very busy one, that caters to low income and is a practice student facility too, so I would think that wait times are longer due to this. Patience is definitely required. Ultimately, I know that it’s the luck of the draw and not everyone may have the greatest experience at UCLA, but that’s the case at any practice. Hopefully more individuals can get the quality care, like I’ve had here.

Oral Maxillary Clinic has extremely difficult phone access. Phone calls were not answered and sent to a request for MY voicemail; disconnected after one ring; placed on hold for over 35 minutes and once answered and told that would call back... it's been 15 days.

Actually, this place, thus far, has been a hair raising experience. I went in yesterday for an extraction. It took almost two months to get this appointment even though I was referred by my dentist in Santa Monica. I didn't get the extraction and could not understand virtually anything the intern said to me. They sent me home only to come back for an extraction on another tooth and a suggestion that I see a surgeon for the other matter. I was given a same-day refund from the cashier. I was at their window at ten minutes to five. It was already closed. Today, I was transferred five times attempting to reach the cashier. Utlimately, I was sent to a voicemail and told to leave a number. I'm giving all of the details so you can directly experience what it has felt like to deal with this place.
