I might of spent an hour or so in the dealership through the whole purchase ( Mike …Looking forward to being your dealership, We appreciate your business and value your trust.

This year, I've had 3 cars inspected here and tires mounted on one of those cars. As someone who does most of their own work on their cars, I've been happy with the crew at Thrifty. I typically take advantage of late night drop off and the car was always ready the next day. I would get a phone call from them when the car was done. They have been straight-forward with what work needs done right-away, what will need to be done before next inspection and things to look out for. That information has always lined up with my personal knowledge of my car's condition. In the case of the tires that were mounted, there was an issue with a valve stem and the tire went flat that night. I took it back the next morning. When the tech came out to see what was wrong, I pushed on the valve stem and it hissed. No questions asked. He said, "We'll have that fixed for you in an hour." I appreciate that... No run-around, excuses or charge to get the issue corrected. With one of our other cars, we asked them to investigate a rattle in the steering linkage. They offered to do some disassembly to narrow down the issue, but advised that I check on a recall my model had for steering before spending the money with Thrifty to do the work that might be covered under a recall. Again, I appreciate that. I can't speak for the car sales department, but the mechanic department has been nothing but good. I will be using them again.

The sudden jarring or heavy impact caused by hitting something, such as a pothole, bumping a curb, or a road accident.
No, alignment is supposed to last for 2 to 3 years
No alignment isn't affected by changing the tire.
We recommend doing the wheel alignment every two-three years or if there are signs that the alignment is off.
A wheel alignment isn't necessary when you have new tires installed, but it's a really (like, really) good idea. An alignment helps ensure that all four tires are correctly angled with each other and the road.
The mechanic adjusts the various suspension angles — known as toe, thrust, camber, and caster that influence tire movement and position.
Alignment refers to an adjustment of a vehicle's suspension the system that connects a vehicle to its wheels.
Yes, you can get an alignment before buying new tires.
Alignment meant to be adjusted in the back because the back tires set the thrust angle of the vehicle and the front tires merely correct for conditions.
A normal car alignment (whether a two-wheel or a four-wheel), will take on average about one hour.
Typical automatic transmissions last around 150,000 to 200,000 miles or approximately 7 years
Rebuilding a transmission can save you a lot of money over the short-term.
Delayed/Noisy shifting, Overheating, and slipping in & out of gear.
Check your transmission fluid level, color and smell regularly.
automatic transmission, the vehicle will slow until it stops.
The transmission allows the gear ratio between the engine and the drive wheels to change as the car speeds up and slows down.
Used transmissions, or transmissions built from recycled or salvaged parts, are typically as reliable as their new counterparts and a good deal less expensive.
Aftermarket additives can disrupt the fluid's finely tuned chemical balance and degrade performance.
If it is new then repair it, and if it is old and repaired a lot of time then replace it
Refusal to switch gears, burning smell, slipping gears, leaking fluid, or grind/shaking.
After three years, it's normally time to install a replacement.
The battery power is used to provide the initial spin to start the engine by way of an electric-powered starter motor.
You can push-start the car, but you can't charge the battery directly by pushing
If the battery tests badly, and it is within the warranty period, it will be exchanged.
Corroded battery connections, persistent electrical drains, charging problems, constantly demanding more power than the alternator can provide, and even extreme weather.
The average life expectancy of a car battery is three years.
Make sure the charger is off, connect positive to positive and negative to negative, turn car/charger on.
If jump starting gets your engine started and running, but the car will not start again once you turn it off, the battery is probably the problem.
This service usually takes about 15 minutes.
Date codes are engraved into the cover of each Interstate battery at the time the battery is shipped from the manufacturing plant.
The air in the brake fluid is the most common cause of low, spongy brakes.
The major reason why brakes fail is as a result of fluid leakage.
No, you do not need an alignment because of the pad replacement.
They should be replaced about every 70,000 miles on most vehicles.
A common cause of uneven brake pad wear is DTV (Disc Thickness Variation).
Drive with the flow of traffic to avoid any unnecessary heavy braking. Give yourself plenty of following distance from the car in front of you so you can coast to a nice, easy stop.
It generally takes 30 minutes to 1 hour for one of our expert technicians to finish the job.
Yes, if you don't this will cause your pads to wear out faster than normal, and also braking efficiency will also be affected.
Squeaking or squealing noise coming from brakes or deep grinding metal sounds
Generally, brake pads need to be replaced after about 50,000 miles.
Yes, our mechanics can return the rim to a like-new condition.
Hitting a pothole can cause bent wheel rims, internal tire damage, alignment problems, and shock and strut issues depending on the severity of the impact.
Balancing requires putting a mounted wheel and tire on a balancer, which centers the wheel and spins it to determine where the weights should go.
Fix-a-Flat will not ruin your tires but keep in mind that it's only a temporary fix and you should have a technician take a look at it as soon as possible.
It's possible to drive several hundred yards before you irreparably destroying the tire
All newly fitted tires should be balanced on the rim for maximum performance and comfort.
It should take around 45 minutes to mount four tires on an average vehicle
