There is no customer greeter, which is unheard of for a Walmart. But in place of a greeter there is the ever present security team standing there and just staring as you first walk in. Weird. I am not sure whether they ever actually prevented a theft or not. They just stand there like they're untrained. And then as you pass through the little gate to go shopping, the alarm will go off for no reason. Apparently this is routine and it is just ignored. The alarm going off for no reason is annoying. And use the restroom at home before going to this Walmart as their restroom is single use, for one person, and this is a major department store. So you will have to wait. Anyway it is too dirty to use.

Overall just ok but this coming from someone who lived in area when it was really bad so that saying something.
Yes crowded even on a Wed early afternoon. Parking can be hassle. Aisles tight, kind of dirty, still some shadey folks around. For a quick stop all things considering but I would travel further for my WM experience. Not as bad as North Ave armed security experience.

This has to be the slowest and worst store to go into. Today I went to get some Perfume, I hit the ball button 5+ times before someone came over. Then she gets there and tells me it’s not her department and that she’s simply stocking as a fill-in. Ok cool. Then she called another lady, she had no key neither. They both walk away telling me they’ll call a manager , 10+ minutes later and NOBODY came. As I was walking away they see me and tell me they can’t reach anyone with a key. REALLY?!!!
Then I ask for the STORE MANAGER, he/she never answered them.
I left the store to report the poor service. Wellllll, the store never answered.
Thank God for online shopping.

This Walmart is clean, well stocked, organized and offers a variety of healthy produce, high quality organic as well as a rich variety of ethnic foods you wouldn’t find at all locations. The checkout is quick because of a large number of self-checkout options. The only real upgrade this place needs is in the maintenance on some of the carts that can often be wonky so be sure to check your cart before you push into the store and have to keep fighting it to navigate properly. It’s a real asset for the neighborhood and all the college students that come to shop here
I selected a store & the item was outta stock, checked a few more individual stores...all outta the sizes we need but itd help if itd put availability at any other stores. I wanna know is a item available at ANY store in Illinois in a specific size
Call the pharmacy to set up an appointment or ask them how to register to get your Covid-19 Vaccine 💉 Shot. If you live in Cook County which is in Chicago or IL call the nearest Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Jewel-Osco Pharmacist and ask them what are the steps to register. I think you might have to do it online. Fyi.
Does the customer service desk close at 10 as well?

No! it close earlier if I'm not mistaken. I suggest to call before going.
Yes, they're open but require wearing a mask when you enter and have capacity restrictions. I heard that during peak times there may be a short line to enter, so try to go off peak hours.
Why are the lines so long this isn't six Flags Great America why do I have to wait 35 mins to get checked out of self check out

Too many people are slow working self checkout plus the machines are very touchy about weight chances of items which makes the cashier ( who is bust talking to 4 other employees and not paying attention) have to clear the message (If you can get her attention). I worked retail that has self checkout and really hated it. if you don't like it then wait in a checkout line with a cashier.
