Best sushi I've had in San Diego. Not really a uni person but this place may have changed my mind.

So yummy! We enjoyed all of the rolls and fish we tried. The only thing I am still unsure of was the special brown rice. It tastes great but really changes the texture. The service was excellent. The drinks were delicious.

Very good sushi tonight. I read some of the 1-2 star reviews and was worried. I assume those people didn’t listen to the the server recommendations on seasonal/more fresh specials. How can a list of 5-6 options that were flown in that day be anything but perfect. The service was great and the recommendations were on point. Get the Toro if it’s in season. And the fried ice cream was SO good.

The good: The food was super good, the interesting combination of flavors, the presentation of the food was good, lighting in this place was great for a date night. Bathroom were super clean The bad: music was too loud, had to park two blocks away The ugly: We had to look for the waiter to give us our bill after waiting for 15 minutes and then on top of that we had to wait 10 minutes to get the change back.
