It is hard to believe how much this hospital has changed. I have a black rescue lab that has been coming to this hospital for the last five years. our last visit was early september 2021 for an ongoing ear issue my boy has where he continuously shakes his head. In the end he was prescribed apoquel 16mg that did help but more with some itching and scratching on his body. In the last couple of weeks the continuous ear shaking has increased and he his left ear now has hemotoa and has filled up with blood. Come to find out the PS Animal Hospital is now down to only one vet. That vet was off yesterday. I was told they will relay this message and if he thinks he could see me they would let me know. 24 hours went by and nothing. This morning at 830am the reception explained we can only put a note in front of the vet and then maybe he will see you but definitely no guarantee they will even call me back to hear if whether or not they would even see my boy a regular patient. I do know most vets in palm springs are booked. One told me the next available appt was in July. There is definitely a need for more vets and a hospital/clinic that actually cares about our beloved pets. This is my fifth pet and prior to coming to Palm Springs I always found one great vet that continously cared for them. It was comforting to know you weren't just another person begging to get an appointment with your same clinic you have been going to for years. I so hope this place turns around but at the moment would not recommend this clinic.

Palm Springs Animal Hospital is by for the best in the U.S. We travel across the country and have had to take our baby girl to many different Vets. Dr. Henein takes the time to answer questions and everyone that works there is always helpful and courteous.

Two weeks ago on a Saturday I called the office since our dog was critical ill and near death. The man that answered told me sorry there are no vets here and the one that was had just left. I asked where I was to take our poor baby and his answer was you need to hang up and just drive around and look for a vets office. There are a lot in these towns. It was Saturday and any that were open, were closed or no vets available. By the time we did get him to a vets office he past due to a bleeding tumor, that came on so quickly. I will not be taking anything to this office especially if it is an emergency. Rude, Rude and more Rude!

Used to be a great vet clinic but not anymore. I called today to get my dog routine blood work for his heart worm medication and was told they were scheduling late January due to their vet quitting and they only have a part time one now. “Corporate has posted the job and they are waiting for an applicant”. They were perfectly fine with my dog missing two months of meds instead of authorizing an Rx until I could get him in.
