I’ll confess, we put our names on waitlists of several restaurants in this darling area of Old Town, and Barra Barra answered the call. Literally. Tasty food. Generous portions. Good prices. Plus our DELIGHTFUL & hard-working server Sarah!!

I ate there today and it was a good experience. Service was excellent and so was the food. I would go back. Pro tip: If there a lot of people waiting to be seated, you can skip the line and go straight to the bar. You can order food at the bar and eat there.

For my first time in Old Town Barra Barra was the prefect lunch spot. They had the best everything mainly customer service. Gabriella was our waitress and her warm welcome made the experience all the better.

Originally was planning on another restaurant next door but the wait was too long so we picked Barra Barra. We did not regret the choice even for a minute. Kids absolutely loved the quesodilla and I rarely hear anything positive from my teenagers so this is definitely a big win. I had Indian bread tacos with fish and chicken - that was a really awesome meal. Sangria was good too. Thumbs up to Barra Barra.

I ate out on the patio a couple days ago and did not see any flys.

What kind of purple/pink flowering trees are those out front?

Those are gorgeous Bougainvillea bushes that cover the patio. You can see those a lot throughout Mexico.
