Very nice, all-volunteer guided presentations and representations of old Big Bear Valley and its history. It was a hot and humid day with little shade relief. A few more shady sitting areas would help. A noble work in progress.

Great experience. The panning for gold was amazing! We really liked the school house. It was classy. Shay cabin was very interesting.

I loved this Museum. Everyone was really nice and they had someone to tell you a little about what you where looking at. I loved it. I would go back even if I have seen everything. Sometime you might think you have seen it all till you go back and have a second look. Go check them out!

This place is great! The best part is the volunteers, kind, knowledgeable treasures that bring history to life. It’s a must visit!
