It does deal with titles. They are very nice but also crowded. I got there for 6 Am. There were 2 women in line right by the door. So I Asked them what time they got there because they were in the front of the line position ( a guaranteed in ). one responded 1.30 AM.

Unfortunately this office does not have this service, however the new office located in Hadley road in South Plainfield has this service and also with excellent customer service staff.

The facility i visited did not do vehicle inspections, however yoi do not need an appointment at any facility that does offers inspections.

I recommend an appointment makes the process a whole lot quicker. Lady at the door taking appointments beforw anyone else & you get to wait outside of bldg. Only 2 people at a time in doorway. She is a bit mean. LOL

You need an appointment for paperwork but inspection is first come first served. If the appointments available are 2 weeks away try another one. I tried to get an appointment at rahway and it was 2 weeks so I tried Sommerville and got one 2 days from the day I tried.

Yes. Just go to https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/ Then click on the appropriate link under "Schedule and Appointment" the appointment is actually more convenient. You don't have to wait long, just make sure you have all the correct paperwork for the new title

I believe you can schedule an appointment for anything. But as of this moment all DMVs are booked into the end of December. If your interested I can get you in asap I do Dmv line sitting. Not sure. But you don't have to wait in line like everyone else just to return plates. You just have to turn them in to the receptionist at the dmv, and you will get a receipt when you hand them in. I would go there first thing in the morning though, sometime in the early afternoon would probably be best.

If you have still the lien on the title make sure and bring the last bank payment, if your title is clean go a day time pick up the form and you have to go nigh time(I recommend 2am) take a chair and sit down right next to the door to be the first 8am morning. That's the way I did and I had succeed.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the save case status...just stop by the DMV in Somerville and they will be able to answer your question. Friday afternoons are slow traffic hours and a great time to visit.

This I can't answer as I do not work at the DMV. However, if you can get a ride over to the office, just walk in and ask the at the desk. There is usually a short line, especially on Fridays! The woman at the desk is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. It's easier to find out what you need to do to get reinstated by visiting the Somerville DMV than trying to call the DMV on the phone, but that is another option for you. Google NJ DMV...they are in Trenton. Hope this helps!

Not sure you can make an appointment anymore given all the new hours and lack of direct phone numbers that would get you in touch with the DMV location in question...just go in and request what you need. The Somerville DMV is very efficient and customer friendly. Bet you can get the real I'd quicker than you thought!

Getting a license reissued, you'll probably only need : proof of residence, credit card and another form of ID. But again, best bet is to look on the website and go to the MVC Prepared! Don't hate those working there if you don't have what is required for your needs, and are asked to come back.
