Firstly , I don’t expect Beverly Hills treatment at the salon at ulta. I had gone prior few times to see alondra and Abby and they did good jobs. This time I had went in last minute for a cut and saw Shauna , I wanted my hair colored but I first told her what I wanted a ashy brown . She looked confused went to other workers to ask questions for about 10 minutes then came back and said Annie said we can do the 6 n ashy brown and I said okay if she’s sure, and she then said I will mix with 5n. Which is little more brown, well she went to mix color but of course went to ask for help again . (RED FLAG, even assistants know how to mix better color then she did ) Anyways, She started applying the color and immediately I told her this is very very dark, instead of stopping she continued covering my whole head . At end it came out extremely dark and she then tells me they did 4n which is very dark brown and that it should wash out lighter , false again if it’s 4n it’ll stay 4n. I spoke to manager immediately and left then . Came home slept woke up to hair dye all over my pillow and cases and blouse .ALL Damaged . She didn’t wash out my hair dye well(shauna ) I also woke up to eyes burning and my ears itching had to wash my hair even though I had just got washed yesterday at salon and partial blow dry . And I even used a clarifying shampoo from redkin , she kept saying it would fade to this day 3 times I washed my hair nothing has changed . This is warning not to see Shauna, she wanted to blame Annie but it is she who is inexperienced . Shauna indeed should not be working at a salon she needs to assist mixing for at least 2 years . Until she’s confident .

this is not a review on the actual store, but of the skin services. I’m giving three stars because my skin is glowing and feels so nice and my pores are clear. However, the esthetician was kind of weird. I was waiting for my appointment for awhile and she wandered the store, I thought she was just a customer. When she finally came and they told her I was waiting, she kept asking my name multiple times and what service I wanted, that was the only thing she said to me at all. After her being late to my appointment for no reason, she still only used the 30 minute time slot and so I actually only got maybe 15-20 minutes. When I was finished, she didn’t even lower the table back down or anything, when I tipped her(because I always do regardless) she just took the money said nothing and walked away. So freaking weird.

I don’t go to Ulta often but each time I go to this location, the staff is always so nice. I went in today and one of the staff members saw I was serious about making a purchase, so she brought me a basket. How sweet. The next staff member asked if I needed help and I explained to her there were so many choices for natural hair care. She told me about the feedback she’d gotten from staff and clients and that sped up my decision making. Last but not least, the cashier was also very pleasant just as the two previous staff members. She went over my purchase, explained the sale items and told me I was eligible for another sale item. A very pleasant experience because of staff and having the products I need. Thanks Ulta!!

Went there on a Sunday and they closed at 6 Jewls approached us three times to see if everything was okay. We let her know we were doing fine. Then she came by fourth time and stood right next to us to talk on her radio very loud to let the other store associates know she was trying to get us out because it was past 6pm. She said “I already approached them 3 times” to make it obvious we haven’t left yet. Overall the other associates were friendly and nice. Store was pretty organized and clean.
