Katie and Adam at KB Events are the greatest thing we did for our wedding! They were professional, organized, and knowledgeable. They had answers to every question we had and thought of things we wouldn't have even known about. They connected us to all of our vendors and every single vendor spoke highly of them. We were planning our wedding from the other side of the country but had no issues or problems with anything because Katie and Adam had everything prepped, planned, and organized! If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't do it without KB Events.

Katie, Adam and the entire KB Event Team were incredible for our wedding! We hired KB Events as our wedding planner and they went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding planning process. They helped in so many ways: they understood our vision to help us pick our vendors (all of whom turned out to be fantastic and a massive success on out wedding day), were readily available for any questions that popped up, helped coordinate and communicate the hundreds of small details that went into the wedding, and insured day-of that our wedding went seamless. It was so important that we had a partner throughout the wedding process that we could trust, and Katie and Adam were exactly what we needed. Our wedding would have not been the same without Katie, Adam and their entire team!

The best. Katie and Adam were the very first people we talked to about helping create our Wedding Weekend and it wouldn't have been amazing without them. KB Events helped us for 18 months plan our Santa Barbara wedding with extra communication as we live in Texas. Almost every vendor we went with was one of their recommendations (and were all fantastic). They provide all the visionary, heart-warming conversations you think about when you begin wedding planning, and back it up with extremely detailed communication, to the minute timelines, budget tracking, etc. On the day of, it was bliss. We didn't worry about a single thing, they had it all covered. Simply cannot recommend them enough. If you're reading this, I'm sure you have other options, but you can also choose KB Events and never look back.

Katie and Adam are incredible wedding planners to work with! They were not only instrumental in our initial planning process (we were certainly clueless about how to plan a wedding and our venue was bare-bones so we had to secure everything from bathrooms, lighting, furniture rentals to the usual catering, flowers, band, etc) but they also seamlessly helped us postpone our celebration, coordinating expertly among many vendors, not just once but TWICE! I truly cannot imagine how we would have done it without them! The day itself was magical! Everything went as planned down to the smallest details which were even better than we could have imagined. And I never felt like I had to worry, plan, or think about anything other than enjoying myself on the day! I could not recommend them highly enough- Katie and Adam will 100% make sure you have an incredible wedding day!

I do not want it to rain on my wedding. What are the rainiest months in Santa Barbara?

Hello Andrew, Santa Barbara is known for having great weather throughout the year, but historically the most rain happens between March and April. The dryer months tend to be August and September, but having a weather backup indoors is always a good idea if rain is a concern. Santa Barbara has a plethora of wonderful venues with indoor options!

My Ceremony and Reception are at two different locations. Could I get guidance on this? I want it to be as smooth as possible between venues. Also, how many times can we meet with your partial planning service

Hello Camille, This is a project that we would be happy to provide guidance for, although with our partial planning service we could take this over completely! With all of our beautiful churches in Santa Barbara, we have had lots of experience dealing with two separate locations for ceremony and reception. Our partial planning package includes two face to face meetings, but we can customise any package and do not limit email or phone calls. We want our clients to have the best experience possible! A few quick tips: 1) Always check the local city website to see if there is anything going on during your wedding weekend. 2) If guests are going straight from ceremony to reception, drive the route if you can and give your guests a 5-10 minute buffer for parking and locating venue 3) If using shuttles, we advise having them stage for wedding guests 15 minutes early. No matter the timing and logistics, there is always a creative solution;)

My budget only allows for a day of coordinator, do you have any tips on how to make the planning process smoother? There are so many emails!

Hello Elaine, If you have not booked your coordinator/ planner at this point, my first tip would be to ensure that the planner you book takes over all vendor communication one month out at minimum (the emails have a tendancy to increase as you get closer to a wedding date, not decrease). Regardless of end, mid or full service wedding planning, creating systems for the amount of information we manage ensures nothing is missed and is definitely a must for making the planning process smoother. A couple great options are Asana and Google Drive. This combination will allow you to set tasks and keep everything organized. No matter which package you book with KB Events, we begin with a in-depth planning meeting to set you on the right path!

I am a Santa Barbara local and already have particular vendors and a venue in mind for my wedding next year. I was told I should talk to a wedding planner before reaching out to them, hoping this is the best place to start!
