Mission Church is a genuine church family filled with real people and hope is for everyone. I am an old grama and my grandchildren are various ages. We all feel at home among these wonderful people. We were welcomed and have been loved as we are, and it has changed us, made us better people. We love our God and we love being a part of the Mission family. Nice place with very nice people. My only issue is the music is so loud. My hearing is bad (I wear hearing aids), but I will have to use ear plugs to return.

This church is a safe place where one can go to receive a faith-based message that is relevant to today's world, and every-day struggles, challenges, joys and hopes. It is presented in theater atmosphere complete with music, large monitors, lighting and comfortable seating. The dress is casual, coffee and friends welcome...the congregation is diverse. You will feel welcomed as soon as you park! The message is consistently moving...every time I've attended I've received a valuable lesson that seems tailored just for me! No pressure to join, or contribute.

If you take away human inadequacy, you take away the basis for the Christian faith.. Try to suggest that we are fine the way we are. Not perfect, mind you. Not flawless or infallible. But not fundamentally messed up, either—not broken, not wounded, not inadequate—and watch what happens next. They won’t have it. You can’t take this away from them. It is too precious.. Why are our only two options either “broken” or “perfect”?
Hey Kelly! Yes! Gospel-centered, Bible based, hope for everyone through Jesus. We have class for kids from babies through fifth grade during every service. And youth group for middle schoolers and high schoolers at other times.
I don't know about that I just went to that church for a funeral
Not currently! There are 4 services on Sundays - 9, 10:30, 12, and 6pm
Hey Linda! Due to covid guidelines and out of concern for the protection and safety of our guests, we are not hosting NTR this year. But we hope to do something special for them to let them know we are still thinking of them!
Try to get on the churches web site. Mission Church has an app. You might try Ventura Missionary. I dont know. I'm not a member, I am a visiting guest. Good luck. I hope this helps. Also catholic charities on Ventura Avenue.
Hey Deanna! I’d be glad to talk- can you shoot me your email address?
