We had 4 large front door handles plated by the Chrome Plating Shop out of Miami. The first 2 two handles Eugene raise the price $700 before he would ship them back to us. The work was very well done the products were cleaned professionally sanded and delivered to us in great shape. The second two handles were very delayed getting returned, he didn’t properly clean them before he plated them so they are all scratchy and rough and they were covered in grease. The plating was thin and you could see the brass through the chrome. But the biggest problem was that they were bent and I had to pay at worker an entire day to reconfigure them so they could be hung on the door again. In the end, It cost a third more than Eugene quoted and half the job was a really shoddy job. I wouldn’t use them again. I didn’t give them one star because the work he did at the beginning was very good although over priced.
