I cannot recommend Uncle Hank’s enough if you want to make your own knife. Hank was extremely welcoming, and awesome to work with. He was extremely patient with my 6 year old and helped him through the process so he felt like he made his own knife as well. He answers any and all questions you could possibly have during the class. I would absolutely do this again in the future. I included a picture of my finished railroad spike knife. Your knife may look like all the others, but it is actually made to fit your hand. You also have the option of adding a clipped edge and and a thumb groove if you’d like. I decided to keep mine simple and went with the drop edge and no thumb groove.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! Loved my experience here. Hank took the time to make a completely custom knife out of a railroad spike just for my hand. Please please please do yourself a favor and take a class. It’s a great gift to give others. Highly recommend this place!!

Can not say enough good stuff about this place. So so friendly and so so nice, very welcoming and so much fun to talk to. The craftsmanship and the attention to detail is spectacular. The knives are wonderful and the leather work is beautiful. They had loads of signs and other items also crafted beautifully inside. Book your class now if you can, there is a waiting list to make your own one off knife. Learn the skills to making your own knife. I can not recommend this place enough.
