Only had dinner (2x's) and was so tasty. Lovely historic building and staff are very friendly. First time server was fantastic, but second time, the server was a bit scattered and not quite with it. Perhaps just an off night. Overall, I will go back

Nice owners, great service, good breakfast. We were on a trip to Crater Lake National Park and used Prospect Historic Hotel as our base. It's kind of far from the closest entrance (55mins) but it has some great hiking spots around. The owners have awesome suggestions of places, hikes & sites to check out and I will suggest following those. We were very happy with their recommendations. The rooms we got were in the main property, were very small (as can be expected from older homes) but clean. Beds are very clean though a little smaller than queen size. Our bed also squeaked but not for the other room we got. Bathroom is very clean. Their breakfast and dinner is good. For dinner, I would definitely recommend their House salad and the Signature Prime rib steak. Service is warm and nice. Definitely recommend.

Group of 3 stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Room and beds were pretty good. Refrigerator never worked and that would be the only negative. Service was very friendly. We had to tell them a few hours in advance if we wanted to dine with them. Food was always amazing!

We booked a couple nights in this beautiful little hotel for an off-season getaway, and enjoyed a peaceful, restorative stay. The historic building has been restored with an incredible attention to detail, and has lots of old photographs and antique furnishings as well. It has been updated with modern comforts like private bathrooms and wi-fi. Breakfast was lovely, and varied, not the same thing every day. We spent the daytime exploring the hiking trails and visiting the nearby waterfalls, which were roaring with water from the recent storms. Nighttime was quiet, and up here you can see the stars, including the Milky Way, after the moon had set. Our host was great, and shared both maps and details on the places we wanted to visit, including where to find parking and winter trail conditions.
