Very nice small park for kids. Path is good for learning to ride bikes. Peaceful on the weekdays. Haven't been by in a long while, no bathrooms available back then maybe they have added them since.

Peace Mound Park is one of the areas managed by the City of Weston Parks and Recreation office. It’s a beautiful place and a great option to spend some time with family, pets or simply alone. With comfortable benches, a beautiful deck, well maintained lawn and sidewalks, this is the perfect place for a relaxing experience.

It's a nice and small park with limited parking. You can play with the kids in the playground area or go for a walk. There is a lake and you should watch for alligators. You can see a lot of fishes.

I go to the park every so often, I've yet to see people kayak in there, however I occasionally go kayaking behind my house(which is like 2 mins away). But to answer your question, I'm pretty sure you can, just try not to go into the water, my friend got an ear infection when he swam in the lake a couple years ago.
