By far, the best experience I have ever had at a vehicle tag center. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a very complicated situation involving a deceased person, lost title, no will, next of kin in California, and me with a power of attorney. Nia and Kayla were outstanding! Highly recommend.

Went on a Saturday to get a tag transferred. Had to take a # & wait outside bcz of covid. Although there were only 2 girls working, once they called my #, it was the smoothest process I ever had with a tag agency.
The lady Kayla that helped me was very friendly, personable & efficient. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the wait. Once my number was called, I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience.
If I have to do any future title/tag transfers I would go back there instead of Cutler Bay.

You can come by the office and we can look into it for you! It’s most likely not an error. If it’s a lease it pays more than a privately owned vehicle and weight also plays a role in the price

This is a multi step process, first step is requesting your title from the finance company. In this case it’s Toyota financial. You will need to come in with your vehicle registration, and the fax number to the title department. Once the title is mailed to our office (1-2 months) we will contact you to come back to complete the process. Thanks!

We recently purchased the car we were leasing from Chevrolet. Chevrolet Finance sent us the release letter stating it's been paid off. Is this sufficient to obtain the Title or do we need to wait for the one sent by DMV?

If this is lease buyout you need the paperwork for the lease buyout, title etc. If this is a vehicle you owned and you paid it off, you need to wait until the lien is released electronically then you can print out the title

This depends on the situation but if it’s the company’s first tag you are looking at around $400. You will need to declare a purchase price since a vehicle can’t be gifted to a company

Yes, that’s fine. They should bring insurance too. The customers comment about the grandma having to be brought in would have been for something other than renewing...like replacing a decal (instead of renewing)
