I got food poisoning last night after going to Darya Restaurant in Costa Mesa. Like other reviews mentioned, we will never go back to this place. This is the worst Persian food we ever had in our life. The server and manager were very rude when we contacted them to let them know about this matter and they were insisting we went to another restaurant! Everything was terrible including serving us cold tea, old bread, the Soltani meat was tasteless and the boneless chicken was old, however, we never expected to get sick. This is unacceptable!

Very friendly staff and delicious food. We had tah dig with three stews and mix of chicken, lamb and shish kabob with mast mousir. All stews were delicious but there is no meat, so best is to order that dish as an appetizer.

I want to be honest, Darya is not the best Persian restaurant but totally it is good. Sometimes I go there to eat Persian food with my friends. The food is a little bit pricey and it is normal for Persian restaurants. Service is good and Nader is a nice manager. The environment is better than many Persian restaurant and sometimes they have a live performance. I gave them 4 stars because they need to improve their food quality and services. If you want to try Persian food, Darya is between the top 5 restaurants.

The best Persian food ever. I come regularly to this restaurant, and everything I try from the menu is always very good. I like lamb and here I am never disappointed. Good service. Pleasant atmosphere
