It did not take long for my parents. It depends on care and availability. Great staff! Loved ones are very well taken care of.
My Mother, who is reliant on a walker, lives in the "Independent Living" area of the Primrose where residents are expected to be mostly self sufficent. She does recieve weekly assistance with light housekeeping and there is a three meals a day meal plan available. (My Mom eats two meals in the dining room and prepares her own evening meal in her apartment.) She has access to 24 hr a day emergency assistance provided via a button she wears on her person by the Primrose. She is provided transportation to Dr. Appts and regular trips to stores but she must be independently able for this. I know The Primrose does have a "home health care" section for less independent people, but I don't know exactly what services they provide there. I do not think they provide the level of care of a nursing home. My Mom really likes The Primrose, and I find the staff very caring and involved. There are many social areas (movie theater, hair salon, library etc.)
