It is truly shocking this company can advertise that they offer a "mental health crisis response team" and yet flat out ignore serious calls for help. I have been trying to obtain emergency commitment for my mentally ill and dying of starvation sister due to untreated mental illnesses and was referred here by the also very unhelpful "mental services" division of the Pottawatamie county court. Upon calling, I was told they only help when called by a cop or a doctor basically. There is an active case with adult protective services, who also called this agency and cannot help. It is baffling and deplorable that an agency such as this, which I am sure is funded by my tax dollars, refuses to actually offer the services that they literally advertise on a flyer I was given. I hate to break it to you, but if you are or a loved one is having a mental health crisis they will likely just die. This agency doesn't care. The county doesn't care. The police do not care. Adult protective services doesn't care. When my sister dies, I will hold your organization accountable along with many others that have failed to help someone with only one family member that is already stretched to the limit themselves. Absolute garbage, please just close your doors.

Doesn't even deserve a 1 star! Supervisor is very rude and doesn't care about your situation! Some of the staff was trying to be accommodating to my schedule but the supervisor does not!!!! Only a walk in service doesn't take appointments! Who cares if you have to work or not!!!!!

AFTER filling out all the appropriate paperwork, PAYING for the service, and going through the intake process - which took an hour and half, I was turned away because I don't live in Iowa. Who turns down someone looking for help? This company seems to be more worried about money then helping those in need. VERY disappointing!
