A breath test revealed I had a bad case of SIBO. I was given supplements and put on a low Fodmap diet. I was very serious in following the treatment plan. Within a week I had dramatic improvements of my GI symptoms and energy level. I am so thankful Dr Weintrob looked for the root causes of my issues and not simply address my symptoms. I now have a diagnosis! I am no longer tied to the bathroom, my pain is gone and my energy is great! "ME" is finally coming back ! My experience with Dr Wendy Weintrob has been life changing ! I started seeing Michelle last year when I was experiencing severe anxiety and a full body skin rash that was a 10/10 on the itchy scale. I WASN'T READY TO DIE! I went to Dr. Weintrob after a full year of living with constant nausea and diarrhea. At that time I was losing nearly 2 pounds a week and becoming so thin that there wasn't left much to lose. My body was so weak I had to brace my weight against the podium in order to teach a class at COCC. My primary physician at St. Charles in Redmond didn't think there was a real problem. She showed no interest in the cause of my nausea and diarrhea, never ran any tests to discover what was causing them, and just gave me medications to reduce the symptoms. It was clear to me that if I didn't find a way to stop whatever the problem was, I was going to die soon. That's when I went to see Dr. Weintrob. I wasn't ready to die. Today, I am healthy, happy and grateful for the help Dr. Weintrob has given me. She initially tested me to determine what was the problem (a gut full of nothing but very bad bacteria). Why wouldn't my medical doctor do that? And then gave me the supplements I needed to heal and supported me every step of the way while I did. I began to get better quickly. I remember telling my medical doctor that I had seen Dr. Weintrob, that she knew what was causing my symptoms, and that I was taking supplements to heal my gut. My doctor shrugged her shoulders and said, that just a 'myth.' She didn't believe in "gut health." She said it was a fad that ran its course a few years ago.
