If your looking for a bed and a shower you found it. When we arrived the sheets had hair on them as well as the pillowcase. The cable didn't work on almost any channels. On a positive note the ac worked good.

This place has improved since the last time I was here. Carpet in the room has been replaced. All beds are all new and comfortable. All outlets has been replaced also. They're still fixing the front siding but the rooms are nice and clean. Keep up the great work. My favorite hotel is now again my favorite 💕

I stayed here over three years ago (pre-covid 19) & again last night. My comments are consistent in both experiences. The rooms aren't awful, but they could use some upkeep. They do have certain amenities which are pleasant. A microwave, a coffee pot (no coffee though), a small refrigerator, shampoo & soap. This time the bathroom was nicely remodeled. The hot water & pressure were terrific. They do allow dogs & smoking in certain rooms. This is nice for some & bad for those who have allergies or issues with either of these. The negatives...The bed creeks very loudly & sounds like metal on metal when you move certain ways. There are two very small & useless pillows. The bedding wasn't the most comfortable, but it was tolerable. The most disturbing to me was the outside appearance. The parking lot is filled with garbage all over the place. A huge dumpster sits in the parking lot looking full. The grass looks like it was cut when it was over a foot high. The sign towards the back of the building that says "Phillipsburg Inn" looks like it has seen better days. The entrance is also very confusing. You could accidentally enter a few feet early & find yourself getting back on the highway. This isn't necessarily their fault, just a "heads-up". Also, oddly my car's GPS found a bunch of America's Best Value Inns, but not this one. It is conveniently located right off the highway & the price is reasonable.

Was supposed to stay 1 night for a business trip. Boss reserved a room for me which was a HUGE disappointment. The office is under renovation, very creepy and had a really bad smell. The parking lot seemed very unsafe with huge trailers parked on the property and numerous truck drivers roaming the grounds. The room and lobby was filled with cigarette smoke in the air, my room was very old, heat didn’t work, unfinished painted walls, exposed wires, wall vent in the bathroom was broken hanging off the wall, the radiator was filled with built up dust! The sanitary napkin bag in the bathroom looked as if it had been used. I literally checked out within 4 hours of my stay, felt very unsafe.

About 4 people in one room but I personally think the rooms are over priced
