this is the worst facility in wilmington they don't care about residents or staff they are extremely short staffed here they now have two different lawsuits out as you see in the other reviews administration is poor he doesn't care basically disregarded my complaints they don't care what so ever my mom clothes has been missing i've asked staff and yet still nothing was done about her missing clothes i've asked for a rag for my mom face do you know what they told me? laundry hasn't washed any!! a total joke this place.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their family member. The administration is extremely incompetent and seem to not care about the residents at all, and only about the money that is going into their pockets. There is countless abuse and neglect going on here and I am surprised it has not been shut down by the state yet. This place used to be not too bad a few years ago, but ever since they got the new director of nursing it is going downhill fast. I am so glad that my mom is no longer staying here.

My Dad stays there but thank God the VA pays for his stay. The places greatly understaffed. The reception people are great but over worked. Most of the staff does not talk to the other staff and so they do no know what everyone is doing. Due to that lack of staff it seems they have had to hire who they can get. Some folks a great but some need to be gotten rid of like yesterday. Oh even though it says they are open 24 hours a day forget speaking to anyone after 4pm (They don't answer).

My mother has been at Autumn Care for quite some time, and 90% of the time I have had no complaints whatsoever. When I have seen something I didn't like or when a staff member did something they were not supposed to do, I went straight to the Administrator and Director of Nursing. Most staff members are wonderful. There are a few that I would like to see booted out the door, but the good ones treat my mama like their own family member. My concerns have always been handled in a timely manner. I would recommend this facility. It is one of the cleanest nursing homes I have ever seen.
