Absolutely worth the fee to play the 6th best disc golf course in the country. It's a small contribution to maintaining a gorgeous, challenging course, plus, the people who work there love what they do and they get paid and treated fairly, which is something everyone should be happy to support. It's no joke of a hike, and there's no way to shorten the course (all in, go big or go home), so bring water, trail/light hiking shoes, and a hat. The views and topography are an absolute treat to take in and the practice course is a great start for beginners.

Fantastic course! One of the best in the area! The biggest con is how backed up it can get as it seems the pro shop does not seem to enforce group sizes. Got stuck behind 2 groups of 6. Bring plenty of water, good shoes, and be ready to throw all sorts of shot shapes! The price of the course is well worth the value, disc golf needs more paid rounds so we can be spoiled with amazing courses like this one :)

I adore this course. I've been a season pass holder since they had them. And I was there almost weekly before then. The ONLY reason I have to give four stars is that this course has not handled the boom in disc golf very well. I have to say; it's probably my favorite course. And Brad, the owner, is a fantastic human, and I love his company. He's doing a fine job. I know it's a business, and the more people who play, the more people pay. While I understand the business model, it's come at a high cost to the disc golf community, who made this course possible! First off - No PDGA tournaments there anymore? No longer working with The Bloom? These are the people who made this course a reality. (myself included) It's been a staple of CO disc golf for years and gives you so much exposure with the coverage I don't understand it... I miss it! What ever happened to the season pass holder rounds/tournaments/tags? If you want to get a round in on the weekend with some friends, it's a LONG round, LOTS of waiting, etc. I know there's a way to break up tee-times every 10 minutes, and pass holders can get priority, but I truly believe there needs to be a group limit BASED ON EXPERIENCE. A group of 4-5+ people who've never played or are very new to the sport should not be acceptable. Maybe the bluebird course? I know it's a tough predicament. And I sound crass. But I've sat on hole 7's bench for 45 minutes before. Maybe a set amount of tee times on these days, 12-15 minutes apart? A superintendent who keeps an eye on groups and their rate of play, etc. I don't know. But I genuinely can't bring myself to play there on the weekends anymore. It's insanity. Your best bet is a weekday afternoon. The new baskets are a great addition, and the 3rd's that are coming soon are even more remarkable. Finishing with the fact that, again, this is one of the most excellent courses you will ever play. It's beautiful. Incredibly well maintained, great staff, all of it. And if things get fixed up this year, if I can go up and play on a Saturday without 20-30 minute waits on the course, I will return and give it the five stars.

Took us 30 minutes to get here from Denver Sunday at 1. Some waiting in-between holes but not bad. Play all 21 holes in a couple hours on the weedays compared to 3 hours on the weekend. Bring your hiking boots & be ready to climb straight up big hills!

Questions & Answers

Thinking about visiting the week of June 17th, are there any tournaments planned that week that would prohibit some out of town hacks from playing during that time? Thank you!

Does the pro shop have disc rentals?

From experience: they don’t have rentals, but you can buy from their limited “used” bin for a lower price than buying new if you’re in a pinch.

Can I take my family to play on Father's Day? Or should we make a reservation? How does this work!

Hey Molly, no reservation necessary. Just head on up, check in with the Pro Shop, and we’ll get you taken care of. Thanks!

How is the snow up there right now. Was planning on playing Sunday with a group and wanted to make sure it was all good and not to deep of snow.

The course is almost entirely melted. We should be completely dry by tomorrow late afternoon. Thanks!
