My experience with Artemis had been excellent. After varicose vein work a few years ago my legs felt wonderful. I feel very confident with professional and knowledgeable people at Artemis. I am ways treated with respect and importance. Dr. Pinsinski did not hesitate to refer me to another physician when he felt my issue warranted that. I so respect that. I am having more vein procedures soon and and very confident of the results. Artemis is excellent! After my second go around with Dr. Pinsinski and assistants I am still very pleased. Your father’s fear of the pain associated with the procedures is common, however our procedures are performed under local anesthesia in an office setting. Patient’s report no to minimal pain during procedures and any post procedure pain is typically managed with NSAIDS or tylenol. Our friendly staff is also always available to discuss patient’s fears of the pain associated with varicose vein procedures.
Vein stripping is no longer the standard treatment and is typically no longer necessary. At Artemis we offer less invasive and less painful alternatives, like our CoolTouch Laser.
The majority of medically necessary vein procedures are covered by insurance. Artemis accepts most insurance plans, including Anthem Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, TriCare, Cigna, Cofinity, Medicare, Medicaid, and many others. At Artemis, our knowledgeable staff is here to assist in determining insurance coverage of treatment. Our billing staff can assist you with any questions you may have regarding payment.
