At first my physician was great. My problems are that when calling I'm waiting 10 plus min just to talk to a receptionist. When I call for an urgent call back I don't get prompt responses. I've been in severe pain for over 2 weeks now. Left many messages through mychart and called 2 times today stating its urgent. I've been sent for test after test. The on call physician I was given referred me to the e.r but never followed up. I had to send 3 messages and call twice just to go over the next step and test results. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with this office's negligent communication. I do not recommend. It's a shame. My physician is a great doctor but the office makes it not worth dealing with.

My mom has been in hospitals and nursing facilities for the last 5 months and just came home last week and is completely bedridden and it's extremely difficult to transport her due to her size and health.She needed to have a follow up with her primary care, Dr. William Palm. This morning after getting her completely ready to go, she had explosive diarrhea and I had to get her cleaned up. This is not an easy task. I knew we would now be late to her appointment and called Dr. Palm's office. I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally hung up when we pulled into the parking lot. I got my mom into the building and was given a little lecture by the front staff about her being late. I apologized and told them I had done everything I could to get her there on time and then called to let them know but I'd been on hold the entire time. They called back and got approval to check her in and we were called back to be seen. The very kind nurse took her vitals and then left to go let Dr Palm know we were ready. She returned a few minutes later very visibly upset and told us that because we were late Dr. Palm wouldn't see her and required us to reschedule. The nurse then started crying and apologized because she had been yelled at by the doctor and she hates to give bad news. I understand we were late for her appointment and that it's a good policy for a reason. I'm just incredibly upset that a doctor, who is supposed to care for people, would treat his staff so poorly and not care about a patient who is in very poor health. I did everything I could to get her there on time and even to attempt to let the office know we would be late. In no way would I recommend Dr. Palm to anyone and I hope he gets some empathy training.
