A caring community. Hope they put their pool and indoor temperature back up for seniors, and folks rehabbing. It inched down.

They are terrible at reaching out to their members! Upon going there to swim with my kids, I found out I had fees I was not aware of.. because they FAILED to properly contact me, to let me know anything. I payed what I was told my balance was on the spot, then days later I get an email saying my membership was closed anyways..? admittedly we were not using our membership that much due to the pandemic, you'd think that would be obvious to them.. but we were not made aware we could put our membership on a hold... There was 0 communication (that I'm aware of) prior to all of this, despite them claiming they emailed me, yet I never received an email. So.. if they couldn't get ahold of me via email at that time why not call or mail me a letter? They had these things on file.. The communication I had with them AFTER the fact (via email) was dismissive and insufferable on their part. The grater message seemed to be: we don't want you here... And apparently they've already faced two law suits recently for discrimination, so this would not surprise me....

The Ashland YMCA is like family. All the employees are kind and attentive.The only place better is the outside! I am so lucky to be a part of this community. Great place to exercise!

I've been goin' to this YMCA off and on since the early 90's. They sure have expanded alot since then! There's a large selection of equipment rangin' from free weights and weight liftin' machines to cardiovascular machines galore. They've got a pool plus a sauna down in the locker room as well. In addition, they also have several personal trainers and offer fitness classes for adults and kids too. I would've rated them 5 stars had it not been for their new, restricted pandemic hours. They used to be open for some time before and after my workin' hours. But these days I gotta really find the time to head over there and it's not always so easy.

Masks at all times. I think there is a limit of 50 people indoors ( or will be Wednesday).
We have a dry sauna available in each (recently remodeled) locker room (men's and women's) they are currently closed due to COVID-19 practices and will reopen at some point in the future.

Pool is salt and some chlorine membership fees very cheaper if you have O H P. insurance great facilities great staff.

You can ask the front desk for the schedule or you can go tothe gymnasium and you will find it attached to the door. If you want to know the schedule before going to the Y, then there is a schedule on the Ashland YMCA website.
We are not contacted with Silver Sneakers, but we offer a courtesy 10 % off the monthly dues and 50% off the join fee if you become a member and have the silver sneakers coverage:)

A day pass for an adult is $20, for a teenager it'll be $5, and for a child $3
For a day pass it'll be $20 for an adult, $5 for a teenager, and $3 for a child. A week pass is $50 and a single month pass is $70. Make sure you bring your ID.

Unfortunately we do not honor silver sneakers but we do have other insurances that can provide a discounted rate. You are able to find those other insurances by calling, asking the front desk, or by going onto our website.
