Van lifer here. Came for the showers only. They were very clean. I’ve been to lots of planet fitnesses and it’s rare, so it was a delightful surprise. Very well taken care of. If they clean their showers this well, I imagine the rest of the place is top notch too.

The people working the front desk are rude and completely useless. Zero customer service skills. Went in and told the girl at the front desk I’d never been in before but was thinking of joining. Wasn’t offered a tour or anything, just told to download the app. I asked if there was anyway to join without the app and another girl said I could go to their website. I’m standing inside the place of business, talking to two employees with computers in front of them but I’m told I need to go online and sign up myself?!? I ask if I could just sign up here in person and got eye rolls from the girls and one actually said “We can try and do it on the iPad but it takes a long time.”

Terrible customer service. I was a guest of one of your black card members thinking of becoming a member myself and the front desk guy (bald guy with the beard wouldn't let me in at first even though I had the quest scan code. He demanded that I find the person that I was supposed to be with otherwise I can't come in. So I just sat there and waited for my friend to come out of the bathroom and give him the same code that I had. Then I asked if I could try out the hydro massager and he said no it's not for guests. Even though we had visited a planet fitness the night before who had wonderful customer service and even let me try out the massage chair. Really nice guy. This guy here, was very rude and unfriendly. The lady that tried to put me on the schedule was very nice until baldy came in and shut it down. Rude! I will not be getting a membership if you have people like that as your face for the company

Just did a walk through to look at what they had to offer. Nice facility, friendly staff, and open late. Unfortunatly not a lot of free weights like I use when I'm at the gym.

There is an annual fee.

You have to pay for at least a month's of the Black Card Membership. Which I do believe it cost about $22. Hope this helps.
Yes u can change your membership anytime. But if you do the benefits or lack there of depends how much you want to pay
Hey Crystal. We appreciate you reaching out to us. Thank you very much for your patience. If the charge came out on May 1st and was around $39, no worries, as that would be your annual fee! The annual fee is first charged 30-60 days after signing up and falls on or around the first of the month. It is then charged on that same date the following year and onward!
Thanks for reaching out,l Austin. Though we don't have an ETA, please keep up to date with the latest happenings on our gym's home page. When we return to 24/7, the homepage will be the first thing updated. Thank you so much for your patience and for being a part of the PF family! https://www.planetfitness.com/gyms/grants-pass-or
Hello Rob! We hope to reopen when the situation is different with the state's authorization. Meanwhile, you can follow our FB page for more updates: https://www.planetfitness.com/gyms/grants-pass-or
Yes, I have seen plenty of people wearing shields
Hi Sue Ellen, thanks for reaching out! We offer two types of memberships: our Classic Card and our Black Card. The Classic membership is offered to start at $10/month and includes the basic benefits. Our Black Card membership starts at $22.99/month and offers many exclusive amenities and discounts. Visit our website for more information: https://www.planetfitness.com/gym-memberships. Hope this helped, and we hope to see you at our Planet sometime soon! 😊
Just call them they work with you
For the cheaper membership - $10 a month - there is no commitment. It's just $10 each month plus an Annual fee of $39. For ibstance, I joined last January. $10 a month was deducted from my checking account each month. In March, I think, thr annyal fee of $39 was deducted. I cancelled my membership in August (not because I was dissatisfied - just because I'd joined to train for a specific hike and had accomplished my goal). When you cancel you don't get the annual fee back, but your $10 payments stop immediately. I just went in and told them I was cancelling. There was no hassle. I considered it to have been well worth it and will probably rejoin soon.
I bring my kids as guests..13+with school id
I used my bank account to get my mom a membership, if that's what you're asking
1 dollar to start, and basic plan starts at $10 a month
Yes! And what is really nice is you can sign up for yourself and bring your daughter in with you for free!
