Just did business with A-1 yesterday, and was very pleased. After calling 15 other spots no one could compete with A-1 on pricing.. Office staff came out to the truck and looked over the material. Yard staff brought a hopper right to the tailgate.. Will gladly do business here over and over..

Employees were great help. Remove everything from my truck. Until you get to the office. Office girl and boy are very rude. Price levels are very poor. They offer the lowest payout in Sacramento. Highly suggest you go somewhere else.

The yard guys are great. The cashier has the snarly attitude that everyone is trying to rip her off. Took in about 125 - 150 pounds of steel; they said, "We quit buying steel, but you can GIVE it to us." Sure I'll give you something YOU are going to SELL without paying me for it 100%, profit how cool for you. My last trip there. Found another place that BUYS steel and pays more for CRV cans too. So "A-1" is now demoted to "Z-0"

They only accept precious metals like copper, brass, aluminum etc.

We take all non-ferrous metals Copper Brass aluminum stainless steel if it sticks to a magnet it's no good here
If it's steel we don't take it. If it's aluminum it's 28 cents a lb. Must be drained of any fluids as well.
