Called in for rear & front gear cable replacement and was given a 24 hour quote and a $50 price estimate. I dropped the bike off, and did not hear back from Luis, the shop owner until 13 days later. He informed me that he discovered my shifters were broken and that it would cost $90 for parts & $45 for the labor. I unintelligently agreed. About 2 days later I get a text saying it’s ready & that I’m receiving a discount. Upon arriving @ the shop I discover he replaced both shifters and the total “discounted” price was $90.Now He proceeded to tell me the reason WHY I was getting a discount. The Shimano front shifter he ordered only worked on a two ringed front sprocket bicycle while my Bike has 3 rings so I would only be able to ride using (2) of those 3 rings for the time being. He told me he is ordering a correct shifter that will work with my specific bike and that he’d replace it for free upon its delivery. Left a $5 tip upon leaving. A week later he calls and says the shifter is in, and it would take a hour to replace. We schedule Saturday to do this. Saturday rolls around, I drop it off at 10AM and 4 hours later I get my bicycle back with what appears to be a thrown away silver front shifter with the rubber hood disintegrating on touch. His son recommends I ride the bike to make sure the gears shift correctly. 10 seconds on it & I have my left palm covered in melting rubber. I reflect upon the journey this repair has been, and calmly walk it back into the shop and say, “this hood is totally falling apart.” So the owner touches it and realizes the condition it is in, and immediately cuts it off. I ask for the previous shifter’s hood & he hands it over. Offers to order a new one and mount it for me but I tell him I’ll figure it out myself. Extremely disappointed with the service of this shop.

Took my road bike in for service and two flats, Lou was able to take care of me quickly and was very up front about wait times and exceeded expectations on time and service. Additionally while I was there, I took a look at the selection of mountain bikes that were there. I have been looking for a new medium sized mountain bike these past few months, and if you’ve been looking you know the selection is quite low. Lou had a wide range of mountain bikes in my size, and was able to work with me to find a bike that had all of the features I wanted within my price range and without the wait time. I was able to come the next day and take my new bike out to carve some trails (5 rides, 30+ miles and counting!). I appreciate the help from Lou and Lou Jr. Definitely will continue to come back for all my bike needs.

I brought my road bikes to this shop many times. The service is unexpectedly fast (this is owner-operated shop with just 1 or 2 assistants). There's plenty of free parking in the back and a few quiet streets to test the bike if needed. Luis, the owner, is very knowledgeable, and loves perfecting the bikes. In addition to fast service I always get great advice, and a very compatible prices - a great experience all around. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
