17 years or more. This is the only place I have been to as a patient for my illness. It’s not an easy task at times. The staff treat you with patience and respect. My medications are always filled fast and they see me quickly if I accidentally miss an appointment. I pray they will never close and same therapist will be here to help me through many more years to come.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have been in healthcare for a long while now and in working in community-based health care in the Bay Area you become familiar with the different offices and how they operate. I have been empathetic to some of my patients when they tell me that they do not get the services that they need in a timely manner at this office. But now it is personal my mom ended up being a patient of this office when she fell on hard times and she told me she was now a patient of this office and I cringed and for good reason. This place is a Medical-Cal (Medicaid) hub for mental health. Unfortunately, this is most of the time the only option where low-income people with state coverage can get in to receive mental health serices. But at the same token, this place is a pill hub they sedate there patient until there next visit. Then the sedation just carries on. My mother has been on more pills that did nothing for her other than make her so out of it that she became a danger to herself. I have had to take her health care into my hands and force them to change her meds. Force them to stop certain meds, and yet again I am having another adverse reaction with another med and no one can return my call until Tuesday next week (mind you today is 06/14/2018) or I can take off or work from my own clinic and do a walk in and wait for hours as if I were at Highland. There no triage nurse, no mid levels, and no Doc of the day on staff to help when we are having a real problem that does not warrant an ER visit. Thank you for being such an awesome place to help the community that needs mental health services them most

I am a Service Coordinator who works with a patient who uses the Oakland clinic. He needs a document signed by his Dr. so that he can access a much needed service. The client has had trouble negotiating getting this signature on his own. I have tried to call the Oak and Fremont clinics many times. All prompted lines only ring and ring. This has happened at all times of day for several days. None of the web pages open up due to some kind of ERROR message. What is going on with this place of business??? What is happening with the mental health service provision to these patients? At this point I will be showing up at some point with my client to facilitate getting this signature with no appointment and no insight as to weather the Dr. is there or not. What is going in there? Thay need more works 5 more would do. Each worker does that job in 20 working people.
I rescheduled, and since Dr. Liles retired the current doctors DON'T show much integrity. Just my opinion.
