Called to ask about consigning. Was rudely corrected and told they don’t do that - they buy outright. So then I asked if the store was accepting clothes to buy and was told no with an incredibly condescending tone. I don’t think I’d want to do business here even if they were accepting new sellers!

I always walk out of Mercer Place with bags of clothing. Always high end and quality clothes, and super cheap!!! The greatest experience, though, was when I went there last weekend to shop for a special occasion. I honestly did not think I would find anything, but it was worth the shot. I needed a formal gown for a back tie wedding. The owner, Lana and her employee (I didn't get her name but she was the sweetest lady!)...both of them were my personal shoppers! Lana found me a long black gown that was absolutely stunning! I didn't want to try it on at first because I thought it looked very "mother of the bride" but she encouraged me to try it on and even picked out shoes! I am so glad I listened to Lana because WOW! This dress was flattering and elegant and checked all the boxes and the shoes were the perfect companion to the dress! $50 gown plus $8 shoes! I even decided to buy a cocktail dress to wear to the rehearsal dinner. Lana's employee suggested a tailor I could use for fittings. The dress was a little too long and needed alteration. Mercer Place is really a one stop shop for any event, any occasion, or to just update your wardrobe with casual quality clothing. Their selection, kindness, friendly service, and one to one care really make Mercer Place stand out from other clothing resellers or consignment shops.
