I like this store - is one of my two favorites in the area (with the other being the recently-opened ICU at Hyde and Eddy). - The biggest strength is the staff - they're always friendly and helpful. This makes them stand out in an industry where many store clerks (and store owners, now that I think about it) act as if they're doing you a favor to wait on you or sell you something. Other info: - They're frequently open slightly later than advertised (eg, 3am); - Appear to always have fresh produce; - Good selection of ice cream :-) ; and - For those who care, they do not take EBT (most stores in the area do).

The staff is great! Best deal in the area on butane torches... you can get any Scorch Torch for $10!!

Great place for your one stop shopping needs. Everything is at a great price, especially their torch lighters. Brand name scorch torches, all are 10 dollars flat, whereas all others have exact same torches, but for 20 to 30 dollars. The owners are kind as well, really make you feel like a true amigo!
