Shrimp and grits are the best ive had! Our waiter was very attentive, made sure we were satisfied with their food. Im scared to dine there because of parking. Make sure to either leave your belongs at home or take them with you when you go to dine in.

Very good breakfast! Had the French toast and tried biscuits& gravy and both were very good. Biscuits were very heavy & filling so beware! Lol Definitely will eat here again, would like to try dinner menu!

Outside dining 🍽 you have a view of the boats/water. Food was served hot and on time. Staff patience was nice to a tourist. A little pricey but I am will to come back and try the breakfast.

The Buttercup is exceptional. The food, the service and the cleanliness is absolutely exceptional! I'm not from Oakland and me and my fiance just was looking for a good breakfast place to eat. We came up on a Gem! We will definately be back.
