Beautiful restaurant once you walk inside the building, but the small street leading to the restaurant is horrendous, dirty, full of garbage and a few homeless along the side. Quite sad to see why the city is not taking care of the situation. Service is excellent, food comes in big portion, best for family style sharing. Generally speaking it was very good. However the crispy pork belly skin was not crispy but chewy. The crepe w lobster had very little lobster inside.

Classy joint for Vietnamese food with fairly formal service. Everything tasted great and it has a nice atmosphere for a dinner where you want to have good conversation. Thought the prices looked quite high but then realized that 20% service was already included.

Ok, so hear me out, the place is beautiful and the food is delicious! If you want some great cuisine, go here! The service was wonderful, they are attentive and kind. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the desserts could use some work. The cheesecake is actually quiet good! However the Creme Brule had some issue, the custard was more like a wet quiche than a custard. The Passion Fruit Crumble has a good compote, but the crumble was dry and grainy. Would I go here again, yes! Would I suggest the establishment work on their dessert, yes!

Wow, we were so impressed by this spot. The outdoor seating was enclosed and we stayed warm. We went for brunch and really enjoyed everything we got. There were several vegetarian options - a frittata and the French toast. There is paid parking next door or paid street parking in the area. Great service and great food!

Anything you order for dinner will be delicious and beautiful.
Our last reservation on Fridays and Saturdays is at 9:30 pm. We are not open Sunday nights. The last reservation for Sunday Brunch is 2 pm. Our website www.lecolonialsf.com always has our hours, menu and other pertinent information.
There is self parking that is paid at a kiosk in the lot to the left side of restaurant (as looking at the front door). There is an attendant on Friday and Saturday nights. This will continue until normal business resumes.
Yes! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is gorgeous and has heat lamps!
Currently we are closed for both outdoor and indoor dining due to city and state directives. When we are/were open, our outside tables are at least six feet apart and the tables inside are ten feet or more apart. All are staff wear masks and gloves. We take guest temperatures upon arriving and also ask each guest the questions that the city directives advised. We require masks to be worn at all times unless consuming food or beverages. We only allow one person in the restroom at the same time. All surfaces are wiped down with sanitizer prior to open and again between guest seating. We only allow six people at the same table at the same time, again as advised by the city directives. In short, we follow all directives that are required by the city and stay. These can be found on their websites.
Yes you may. There is a public elevator at the 20 Cosmo Place entrance and from there you may enter the dining room(s). If the destination is the lounge, there is an entrance at 721 Sutter Street or there is a service elevator from the main dining room.
Casual to dressy. For men, no baseball hats, no shorts in the dining room.
