Once you step inside, you are instantly transported from the (wonderful) chaos of Mission street to a peaceful, cozy restaurant that feels pulled right out of Italy. The lighting is low, the opera music gorgeous and servers very friendly and attentive. The food was authentic and delicious. The service was super fast, the bread they brought was straight out of the oven. The “sides” size of pasta was perfect for our two younger kids. The adults and teen had tortellini in cream sauce, gnocchi and pasta with mushrooms. Soooooo good.

I have dined here since 1984 when my husband and I would travel here to the City for special occasions. Since then I bring my adult daughtet here to share this tradition in my visiting San Francisco. The food and dining experience has always been wonderful. The owner is very personable and the staff are very nice.

A true delight. The portions are so that if you want to leave full, you'll make it an entire full course meal. They are enough and so delicious that you would want more, but otherwise it hits the spot quite well where you'll indulge and savor every bite.

Amazing little place: Great Italian food, excellent service, decent prices. The neighborhood has deteriorated in recent years, but the restaurant feels like an oasis the moment you enter. Quiet atmosphere, and rarely crowded.
