If you live in the MD or VA area, and are in need of anything futon (or furniture) related you need to go to Gala. I drove an hour from my home to his store for a new futon mattress and it was worth it more than I can say. First, it is the service. He gave me options, asked me questions which I hadn't even thought to ask and helped me pick out my futon mattress. Let me emphasize: he helped. He didn't pressure me to pick out a more expensive option. He also really cared that I went home happy. In a world of 'get it quick', and 'just order online', this independent small-business (with a lot of American made products!) reinforced for me the benefits and importance of shopping locally.
