Wonderful for a Bach concert. Also, Z I tried a photo when I left it was dark, when a dark spirit blocked my camera and turned to a bright turquoise orb that flew into the belfry, it stopped and turned to almost make sure I saw it then went in.Definitely a spiritual place.

California's first building built expressly to be a cathedral in 1854. It was gutted by 2 major fires, one being the 1906 earthquake. Look at the clock tower on top of the church.

Hayes Valley Inn at 417 Gough St, .5mi from the Church. It has good reviews as to price and location. There are two others within 5 minute drive, they may be a little more expensive: The Opal at 1050 Van Ness and Hotel Whitcomb at 1231 Market St.
