Lazy. ish
Great tour! Going on a Monday it wasn't hard to get tickets, although I highly recommend you reserve your seats ahead of time (easier for smaller parties), had a great tour guide who was a park ranger by the name of Cristoff, really knowledgeable guy and made it entertaining for all ages. The driver of the trolley was very experienced and safe while driving even during the rain. We were driven to breathtaking views and got to go halfway around the huge rim. The tour was exactly 2 hours long, alot of chances to get out and take pictures. Overall it was educational, entertaining and a good way to spend a few hours at crater lake :]

My fiancé and I were driving the rim around crater lake in a convertible and I sat up in my seat to get a better view as we were passing a view point. One of the trolly drivers proceeded to signal to me that I needed to “sit down”, even tho I was still seated, as many of his passengers were in a full on stand… words of advice, mind your own passengers and let the rest of us be… will definitely not be attending any tour on a trolly in the future..

Don't book in September! they cancelled our tour the night before on a sunny day due to inclement weather! We'll be taking the self-guided tour and recommending that to our friends. Save the money and aggravation.

Great tour. Worth spending two hours and listening the history and taking a scenic drive with the staff. The ranger Michelle was excellent and made it insightful. It’s a good way to support local community. Alert: I’m not sure why the address shown here is Klamath Falls but you take the trolley inside the park. Pro trip: even though you booked online, you have to be at the trolley and give your CC again! It’s weird but it will help you get settled with good seats before others ;)

Trolley season is from mid June thru September, there is not a bad seat for views, the trolley tours stop numerous times so everyone can get off and take pictures.
I couldnt tell that just call them
Yes
The trolley is not funded by BTS nor is it affiliated. Yes Crater Lake Trolley shuts down for the winter and is currently now shut down. We will open back up (pending on weather) around the last week in June.
