Dr.Dodson was my dr at sts central years ago. I am trying to get into the med cannabis program now and judging by how helpful and caring Dr.Dodson was at sts I cannot wait to be his patient at Dodson Clinic. There was bad reviews about him on google but those were mainly from people who used narcotics and got kicked out of the program. The program that is there for people who are serious about their health and dont use street drugs.

I’ve never had a doctor of any kind be so aware of any possible risk to my mental and physical health. I felt heard and understood; I hope I don’t have to change doctors for a while. Even another patient I spoke to was so nice. The whole experience was well over 100%. Is that even possible? YES; Anything is! Ellie

Dr. Dodson has always been very respectful, caring, and one on one! He definitely has a genuine soul and takes the time to get to know each individual patient personally. He does the best he can to get all the important information to help them.

Let me provide current pricing as of 7/22/2019 for new and renewal certifications. The previous answer is incorrect for the Medical Cannabis Program. NEW Medical Cannabis Certification is $200 for the office visit to be certified by the doctor as having a qualifying condition and your email put on the registry. State registration has an additional $200 registration fee. These are two separate transactions. The $200 state registration fee can be reduced to $50 if you have Medicaid, MN Sure, VA disability, Social Security Disability, IHS or SSI. At this time Medicare does not qualify for the reduced state registration fee. RENEWAL Medical Cannabis Certification at Dodson Pain Consultants is $160 for the office visit to be re-certified. We look forward to certifying all qualifying patients. Please give our office a call for more information!

Many seniors have made that switch and are doing much better. Dr.Dodson is a excellent doctor and can discuss the options available. Then once approved the dispensary (I use MN Medical Solutions) they will sit down and discuss all the different options available and what will work best with your condition. It's a natural safe alternative of the pain meds with great outcomes. But first get in with Dr.Dodson, he will take good care of you. Best of luck and I hope this helps a little. A

I've tried CBD products from recreational cannabis stores, but it doesn't help for my pain. Is medicinal CBD stronger than recreational CBD?

V Aldrich | Jan 16, 2020

I probably can't answer because I have not tried OTC CBD products. I can say that medicinal products that I have tried worked best for me with l my issues. CBD good for spasms but helps to have some THC which product only comes three blends of CBD/THC. All THC or All CBD Or a 50/50 mixture of the two products. Only the mixture has worked well for my specific problems. Sensorimotor polyneuropathy Spinal injuries, TBI With Mast cell activation syndrome. Spinal pain- only helps me sleep, not much for extreme pain. I wish you well and hope my comment helps you understand a little, if not I can try answer any questions.
