The masjid is not very woman friendly. The lights were hard to understand, the bathroom was very misleading and we also had trouble knowing which part was the women’s section. The room next to the entrance which was labeled as a restroom turned out to be a storage room. To get to the actual musalla we had to go down the stairs into a hallway and up another fleet of stairs all in the dark because we couldn’t see where the light switch was. During our prayer we could constantly hear the whole room creaking as we ended up praying in the wrong room. It was honestly scary and I hope that the masjid can work harder towards making it more welcoming for the ladies section.

How is it normal or even Islamic to have the women enter in the back street near the dumpsters? It's not safe, sanitary, welcoming, and most importantly an Islamic way to treat women. Very disappointed to see this a common trend among Islamic institutions. Women entrances should be protected and in the sight of the main entrance, or preferably IN the main entrance. A woman can get assaulted very easily, especially at night. Also, the Friday prayer was conducted exclusively in Arabic. Most Muslims are not Arab speakers, making this masjid not very inclusive and welcoming for non-Arab/Arabic speaking Muslims. Also, it is not very clean looking. This review is based on my only experience with this masjid--I came in for Jummah prayer during my brief stay in San Francisco.

Sorry brother it doesn’t make difference if it’s salafi masjid or others it’s the house of allah swt if our intention is to make ebada this is the place or any masjid thank you
Its best to get there at 1:00 for the khutba & salah varies depending on which imam from 1:30 to 1:45. Also in a few weeks everything will be 1 hour earlier to adjust for daylight savings time ending In sha Allah.
Friday prayers will be 1:15 pm and prayer time is 2:00 pm Eid al-Adha, God willing prayer will be 8 o'clock
