This is my go to butcher shop and my favorite deli. However, recently this place has been going downhill. I purchased 2 slow smoked brisket sandwiches and they ran out, which is understandable. That was ok. I opted for skirt steak and it was very tender and delicious. When I received my sandwiches, my order was completely messed up. The sauces were wrong and they forgot/put wrong condiments on both sandwiches. I went up to the cashier to get some of the missing condiments, they came back with only one thing and not the other condiments I kindly asked for. Also I think it’s important to state that the fries are very different than how they used to be. They used to have this delicious citrus seasoning and now it’s just salt and pepper. Overall, this place has great potential but I have noticed that you have to go on one of their good days. Some days, they are just off and not on their A game. 3/5

Amazing. Best Tri-Tip sandwich I've had in FOREVER. I'll be coming back here every time I'm relatively close to this area. This is Los Gatos Meats & Lockeford Meats quality here. Street can be confusing to find but think about the prize for finding this gem. Wow. I'm truly blown away.

Hi yes we have both. I would say it’s best to place an order especially if you want the prime rib roast cut, tied, and seasoned. The tomahawk steaks can be cut to order while you wait. Thanks

They do! But they also sell out from time to time. Best to call ahead. And if you want a specific grade or size, they'll order it for you next day
It isna trational butcher where you pick the meats or sausage and they weigh them. They do have bagged marinated tri-tip, skirt steak and chicken that are exceptional! Just throw nright on grill.

Hi Nancy I’m sorry you didn’t receive the cooking instructions. I I was trying to find a way I could attach the picture of the instructions, but wasn’t able to. HOW DO I COOK MY PRIME RIB ROAST? Keep roast refrigerated until it's ready to be cooked. X. Place the meat on a rack in a shallow roasting pan, fat side up. (This let's the meat baste itself as it cooks) I xI Rub the meat with herbs or season, (omit if you already have a seasoned roast) Do not add water or cover roast. X When checking temperature? Insert meat thermometer so tip is centered in the roast, but does not touch bone or fat. Roast in a slow oven (300° to 325° F). Preheating the oven is not necessary. X Remove the roast from the oven when thermometer registers 5 degrees below desired temperature. Roast will continue to cook as it stands. The meat thermometer is your most accurate guide for when the roast is done. The final thermometer reading will register 140 F for rare, 145 F for medium

Hi Debbie, unopened smoked sausage will last about a month in the refrigerator. Then a trick once they are open is to wrap the opened sausages in a paper towel. The remaining sausages will last longer once they are opened. Have a great day

Hi Joey, we can special order different cuts of game for you but it’s also very expensive, because we would have to order a minimum of 20-30lbs. Maybe you could see if any of your friends go hunting and could process the deer or elk with us and he could share with you. That is always a great option. Hope that was some help
Though they are best known for their amazing sausages, they have full butcher selections. They also have great sandwiches from their deli.
